| Shopping The most telling story of Belknap County’s growth can be witnessed at Exit 20 of Interstate 93 in Tilton. Less than ten years ago, this was primarily as an interchange for visitors traveling to the lakes and mountains. Today, it is the largest commercial development in central NH. More than 50 nationally known retail stores have opened at the Tanger Outlet Center, inviting shoppers from throughout NH and neighboring states to take advantage of its tax-free selections. Over 100-plus retail chains are located here, inviting shoppers to take advantage of tax-free selections.
